As a life-long musician, Maria Scheuring, Esq. brings a personal and unique approach in combining her legal expertise with her understanding of the artist, band agreements, as well as artist Contract negotiations, copyrights, licensing, recording, distribution, publishing, royalties, endorsement deals, touring, drafting and negotiations with venues and merchants so the artists can focus on the music and the merchants and venues can focus on profit and patrons.
Maria Scheuring, Esq. is the Executive Music Director for the Alive After Five Festival for the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce in Long Island, NY, a series of four summer festivals with average attendance of 20,000 to 30,000 per week. In this capacity, she not only personally selects bands to perform from her extensive experience in the music industry, but drafts and executes all the necessary contracts and oversees all the bands and performances.
